He called on believers to embrace the transformative power of Christ’s resurrection, abandoning the “darkness” of bitterness and stepping into the liberating light of forgiveness.
The Bishop expressed concern over shifting social norms, stating, “The modern world has changed much, leading to disarray, with women no longer respecting their womanhood and men doing things contrary to what they are supposed to do.”
Bishop Akanjuna charged the confirmands to be beacons of stability and holiness, emphasizing that their confirmation was a commissioning to follow a “Godly direction,” rejecting prevailing disorder, practicing forgiveness, and upholding universal dignity.
