NRM Flag Bearer Rwabugumi Begins Grassroots Campaign for Rubabo County Seat

RUKUNGIRI, UGANDA – The NRM Flag Bearer for Rubabo County Member of Parliament, Hon. Mwesigwa Mathias Rwabugumi, has centered his campaign on service delivery and community transformation.

While launching his campaign on November 27th, 2024, at Nyakisoroza Play Ground in Nyakishenyi Sub-county, Rukungiri District, Rwabugumi highlighted his significant agenda to transform the community.

Prior to the grand campaign launch, Hon. Rwabugumi embarked on an extensive grassroots tour, directly engaging with residents across the constituency.

The aspiring legislator was enthusiastically received by crowds in multiple areas, including Nyarurambi, Kirimbe, Kisiizi, Kampala Trading Centre, Kahoko, Kacence Parish, Kafunjo Parish, Bikongozo Parish, Katonya Parish, Murama Parish, and Nyakisoroza Trading Centre.

Throughout his addresses, the candidate delivered a powerful message, urging voters to support capable and development-oriented leaders committed to transforming their communities.

He called on the electorate to be discerning, urging them to elect leaders who have a deep understanding of local challenges and a genuine commitment to improving service delivery.

Hon. Rwabugumi unveiled his core development pledges, focusing on vital improvements to water access, health services, and education for the community.

This practical, issue-based message was met with strong support from residents, who expressed widespread optimism for his vision for Rubabo County.

The campaign launch signals a committed effort by Hon. Rwabugumi to secure a mandate based on trust, local understanding, and a clear agenda for development.
