Speaking on Monday during a meeting of NRM structures at Rumbungu Church of Uganda in Kebisoni Town Council, Rwabugumi emphasized that a united front is the only sure path to bringing meaningful development to the households of Rubabo County.

Rwabugumi reminded attendees at the meeting, which was aimed at reactivating the NRM’s grassroots network, of their core duty to mobilize unwavering support for all party flag bearers from LC1 up to President Yoweri Museveni.

“The main intention of this meeting was to reactivate and strengthen NRM structures, reminding them of their duty to mobilize support for all party flag bearers from the President, the area Member of Parliament, and other leaders so they can work together to deliver services,” Rwabugumi stated.

He encouraged the public to embrace the NRM ideology and follow the party’s structural guidelines, appealing to members to protect the achievements made under the current government.

Doreen Komujuni, the Rukungiri District Coordinator for the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), specifically addressed the youth, urging them to engage in peaceful politics and reject divisive identity-based politicking.

Komujuni cautioned the youth against being used by opposition leaders, emphasizing the need to protect national stability and endorsing Rwabugumi for his deep grasp of the county’s specific challenges.

Kebisoni Town Council NRM mayoral flag bearer Leonard Muhunguzi made a pragmatic appeal to party structures, arguing that voting for NRM flag bearers is the most direct way to improve household development in the area.

Muhunguzi cautioned that electing opposition candidates would only serve to undermine service delivery and stall the community’s progress.

The meeting fostered a renewed sense of purpose among party members, who pledged to work as a cohesive team to ensure a resounding NRM victory across all levels in the forthcoming elections.
