KISORO, UGANDA – Students from across the Kigezi sub-region attending the Kisoro Scripture Union conference have vowed to report any cases of homosexuality they encounter among their peers or within their educational institutions.

The event, which began last Friday and concluded Tuesday evening, served as a platform for discussions on faith, behavior, and challenges facing modern youth.
Attendees including Atuhaire Tracy and Ahereza Sheila from Bukinda Secondary School, along with Arinanye Junior from Murole High School, stated the event had deepened their understanding of Christian principles and life choices.
They identified a critical gap in mentorship, noting that many adolescents engage in early sexual activity due to insufficient guidance on resisting temptation.
