Speaking at her office in Kisoro Municipality, Ruzaza emphasized the importance of socializing, cooperating, and relating among different church denominations, noting that the saints who died for their faith came from various backgrounds.

Ruzaza also reflected on the significance of the day, urging Christians to mark the occasion by helping the needy, including those in hospitals, with essential items such as food, clothing, and medication.

Ruzaza also emphasized the importance of sharing the word of God, providing counseling to those in need, and fostering love and harmony in marriages and families.

She urged families to avoid conflicts and instead foster understanding and peace, especially on this special day.

Ruzaza also highlighted the crucial role parents play in shaping their children’s behavior and morals, noting that the home is the first and most influential school a child attends.

According to Ruzaza, many young people struggle with expressing love and relationships due to a lack of positive role models in their upbringing.

She encouraged parents to take an active role in nurturing their children with proper values and behaviors.

Uganda Martyrs’ Day, themed “Lord, let me see again, I, Your pilgrim of Hope,” reminds us of faith, unity, and love, resonating with Ruzaza’s message on the martyrs’ sacrifices.
