President Yoweri Museveni in his capacity as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces has promoted and appointed five officers to different offices within the Uganda Police Force.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!In a letter dated November 2, 2024, signed by the Uganda Police Spokesperson is ACP Rusoke Kituuma, the Promoted officers include; SCP Apara James, SCP Niwabine Lawrence, SCP Obwona Joseph, SCP Tanui Steven and SCP Musana Godfrey who were both promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector Generals of Police (AIGP).
The letter further indicates that SCP Apara James was appointed the New Director of Logistics and Engineering, SCP Niwabine Lawrence appointed Director of Traffic and Road Safety and SCP Obwona Joseph appointed as the Director Interpol & international relations.
SCP Tanui Steven was also appointed as Director Fire and Rescue Services and SCP Musana Godfrey appointed as the Deputy Director Logistics and Engineering in the New reshuffle.
