KAMPALA-UGANDA: Interpol’s Deputy Director SCP SSewanyana Yusufu has a launched four-day training program on crime management for the Police and UPDF at Protea Hotel, Kampala.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The function held Wednesday and attended by the 21 selected officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Directorate of the Uganda Police Force -UPF and Interpol is focused on enhancing skills of Plice officers on Interpol policing capabilities, particularly in investigating sexual crimes.
During the launch SCP SSewanyana , emphasized the importance of seizing opportunities to combat crimes and acquiring practical skills to handle crimes effectively, especially given the officers’ roles at border points.
He disclosed that the training sponsored by the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office under Project Soteria, is aimed at strengthening law enforcement’s capacity to investigate, prosecute, and arrest offenders.
