KAMPALA-UGANDA: The Former Amudat district LC V Chairperson, Francis Kiyonga Adamson has been convicted and sentenced to 23 months and 14 days in jail.

Kiyonga was charged in 2021 with stealing and selling spare parts of a government vehicle “ double cabin pick-up truck registration number UG 0654” belonging to the Amudat District under the Youth Livelihood Program.

Appearing before the Grade One Magistrates’ Court in Matuga, Francis Kiyonga Adamson was fined 80M UGX to be paid to Amudat district within six months of completing his sentence.
