RUBANDA: The State Minister of Finance Henry Musasizi Ariganyira has donated 100 iron sheets as Contribution towards construction works at Ihanga Church of Uganda in Bubare Subcounty Rubanda District.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The Brand New Pre-painted iron sheets were today delivered to the Church leaders by Mr. Pius Tumwiine alias Smal, the Bubare Sub county LC.3 Chairperson.
Mr. Tumwiine also delivered the message from Minister Musasizi who is also the Rubanda East Mp and NRM Chairperson Rubanda District, in which he pledged continued support to the church’s development plans.
He also urged Christians to work hard and embrace Government’s poverty alleviation programs that are meant to uplift social-economic standards of the communities.
While receiving the iron sheets at Ihanga Trading Centre, Mr. Andrew Monday, the Ihanga Church of Uganda Lay Reader accompanied by the church members, expressed gratitude to Minister Musasizi for the courtesy donation.
Mr. Monday said that some of the 100 iron sheets would be used to roof the Lay reader’s house of residence at Ihanga C.O.U that is under the Bubare Parish, Bubare Archdeaconry, Diocese of Kigezi.
Speaking at the same event, Ihanga Parish LC. II Chairman Patrick Rubaramira, and John Bagorogoza the LC.1 Chairman Karubanda Village where the church is located, noted that the Hon. Musasizi had pledged to roof the Lay reader’s house while addressing mourners recently, at a burial ceremony in the same locality.
Meanwhile, this is the fourth time in a space of less than a month that Minister Musasizi is donating to the church in Rubanda District.
A few weeks ago, he donated 100 bags of cement to Nyaruteija C.O.U in Hamurwa Sub County, 100 bags of cement to Hamurwa C.O.U, and a YAMAHA Brand Keyboard to Hakishenyi Catholic Church in Nyamweru Sub County.
