A minor burnt by the step mother with hot Oils discharged from Ishaka Adventist Hospital.

SHEEMA: Doctors at Ishaka Adventist Hospital in Bushenyi District have discharged a 6 years old boy who was seen in a short video fighting for his life after his step mother mercilessly burnt him with hot Oils.

Benefit Ainamani was rushed to the facility after his step mother, only identified as one Julian now on remand at Mbarara Women’s prison, burnt him with hot oil on the stomach and left him helpless.

According to the Biological Mother of Minor Ms. Viola Kansiime, she separated with her former husband one Isaac Muhame a resident of Kirundu Village, Shuuku Town Council in Sheema district 2 years back of which they have had 2 children together.

She said that after a while, went back to ask for assistance on raising the children, from which the former husband decided to go with the victim to his new marriage until she was notified of the deteriorating health of her Son.

Viola Kansiime a resident of Kasana Central Village, Kasana Sub County in Sheema District added that under Hills Foundation, her Son was picked by Can. Charles Aine and Nelson Karuhanga, taken to Kitagata Health Center IV in Sheema district later transferred to Ishaka Adventist Hospital for more treatment.

Dr. Edmond Ekuka a Medical Surgeon and Dr. Johnson Kabwiswa told this reporter that they were able to operate the Minor by getting pieces of body parts from the hips to fill the stomach wounds.

They called the incident as a terrible one, thus encouraging parents and child’s care takers to desist from torturing their Children in a manner that can easily course an everlasting bodily harm.

The Hills Foundation director Can. Charles Aine and the area Councilor Mr. Nelson Karuhanga said that they have spent over 4 million to see the Young soul Benefit Aine stand back on feet and gain life.

They pledged that under their Hills Foundation the Victim and the minor will be taken care of and after healing, he will be taken to school to Continue with his studies.
