Rev canon Mwesigwa said this on Thursday during the kuhingira of Asasira Saphira the news editor of Radio Ankole in Nyamuhani Ruhanga Itojo sub county Ntungamo district.

He hailed Asasira Saphira for being a woman of noble character asking her to build a marriage that glorifies God.

Rev Canon Mwesigwa implored Asasira Saphira and his fiancé Musiime Benjamin the South Ankole Diocesan Youth Coordinator to make their new beginning of their marriage based on pure love.

The RDC Ntungamo Cadre Mucunguzi noted that marriage is not a bed of roses stressing that in their new chapter they should expect yields and challenges.

He therefore asked them to put everything to God if they are to succeed in marriage and hailed the Lion George Bashuukwa for organizing such a function for his granddaughter.

The acting station manager Radio Ankole Elly Katahinga congratulated Asasira Saphira upon reaching her new day and commended her for being one of the gallant employees in the company.

Katahinga described madam Asasira as a gallant news editor who is committed, listener and a person who knows what is doing in a diligent manner.

Lion George and his wife Perepetua Bashuukwa thanked their granddaughter Asasira Saphira for being a brave, generous and hardworking lady which enabled her to succeed in the youthful stage.

Lion George Bashuukwa commended the Directors and management of Radio Ankole for employing, nurturing and mentoring her to be a responsible person in life.

He thanked family, friends, relatives and organizations such as Lions club Ntungamo.

The South Ankole Diocesan Secretary Rev Canon Arthur Twinamatsiko praised God for the day and thanked both families for entrusting him to be their intermediary.

Asasira Saphira and Musiime Benjamin will be wedded on this Saturday, at St Matthew’s Cathedral Kyamate and thereafter take their guests to luncheon at Home to Home Kyahweire Kahunga.
