KABALE: The territorial police in Kabale have arrested three more criminals part of the gang that were still at large suspected to have been terrorizing parts of Kabale municipality.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Among the suspects is Turyatunga Ponsius aka Poshi of Kekubo cell Kirigime ward Southern division who was arrested on a tip off by the Wanainchi after he surfaced, and has been leading the group that was operating in Kekubo and surrounding areas.
Others are Norman Owomugisha aka Nyarukwisi was terrorizing Butobere and surrounding areas and was arrested yesterday on 23/04/2024 on intelligence information and Didas Mugambajje aka Romeco who was arrested in Nyakiharo cell Mwanjari ward Southern division, on a tip off and was found armed with a panga which he intended to cut one of the officers at the time of arrest.
The Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson ASP Elly Maate, the three will be arraigned before courts of law to answer charges accordingly, upon the completion of investigations, in addition to those already produced in court and demanded to Ndorwa prison.
Elly Maate further commended the vigilance of Wanainchi and the cooperation they exhibit leading to the successful arrest of these thugs and gave an assurance that the operations against such people will continue until there’s total peace.
