Kampala, Uganda – The Government of Uganda, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the African Agribusiness Incubators Network (AAIN), is set to host the Uganda Agrifood Systems Investment and Financing Conference.
The highly anticipated two-day conference is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday and conclude on Wednesday at the UIRI Namanve Campus.
Themed “Catalyzing innovative financing and investments in Uganda’s agrifood systems for accelerated socio-economic transformation and sustainable development.”
The event will bring together key stakeholders and industry experts to discuss and explore opportunities for investment and financing in Uganda’s agrifood sector.
The event is expected to provide a platform for experts, policymakers, investors, and industry players to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in agrifood systems investment and financing.
Key areas of focus will likely include innovative financing models, investment opportunities, and strategies for promoting sustainable development in the agrifood sector.
