Breaking news – The Rukiga district community has overwhelmingly welcomed Dr. Sylvia Alinaitwe, the aspiring woman Member of Parliament, as she heads to the official launch of her campaigns.

As she approached the district, a number of Boda Boda cyclists were seen staging at the border of Rukiga and Ntungamo districts, indicating a potential wave of change in the district’s leadership.

During a stopover at Rushebeya play ground, Dr. Alinaitwe expressed her gratitude to the large number of supporters who turned out to show her love and support.

The campaign launch venue at Kantare Playground in Kashabya Sub County was overcrowded with supporters showing love to the aspirant, underscoring the strong support Dr. Alinaitwe enjoys in the district through the palpable enthusiasm and energy of the crowd.

Dr. Sylvia Alinaitwe’s decision to contest for the parliamentary seat comes after her recent resignation as the Deputy Managing Director of the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) and her duly nomination at the NRM offices in Kampala.

Her entry into the race has generated significant excitement and anticipation among the electorate, who are eager to see her vision for the district’s future, and with her campaign launch, Dr. Alinaitwe is poised to galvanize her supporters and articulate her agenda for the district, promising a new era of leadership and development in Rukiga.
