Rubanda, Uganda – The National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Enid Origumisiriza Atuheire, popularly known as Auntie Enid, has urged the community to embrace unity as the essential foundation for sustainable economic growth and poverty eradication.
The aspiring legislator made the call on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, while speaking at the burial service of the late Herbert Asiimwe, brother of Briclops International Studio founder Mr. Argery Matsiko. The funeral was held at the Muko Market Center in Rubanda District.

Addressing a large gathering of mourners, including family, community leaders, and local residents, Hon. Atuheire framed collective action as the key to overcoming shared challenges.
“In times of difficulty, it is our unity that will carry us forward. We must come together, support one another, and work hand-in-hand to build a stronger, more prosperous community for everyone,” she stated.
She further emphasized that sustainable development is a collective endeavor, urging local leaders and residents to join forces in driving initiatives that foster economic growth, social progress, and environmental stewardship for the region’s overall benefit.
The service was a solemn occasion to honor the life of Herbert Asiimwe, who was remembered by mourners as a respected individual and a significant contributor to the local community and business sector.
