RUKIGA: The Rukiga district speaker Rt. Hon. Akampurira Oscar has appreciated the government for creating gaps in reducing unemployment among the Youth.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The speaker was speaking during the Birthday party ceremony of the newly elevated Assistant Resident District Commissioner (Ass/RDC) Mr. Barigayomwe Gibs, a function held at Apo Hotel Muhanga on Sunday last week.
Hon. Akampurira Oscar said that the newly appointed Assistant RDCs had positions they were filling in Rukiga district including; Ainebyoona Babra (Female Youth Councillor), Barigayomwe Gibs (District Youth Chairperson) and Kyasiimire Babra (Kamwezi Sub County Speaker) which will now be filled by other people.
“I want to thank the government of Uganda for creating these employment gaps. Because all these newly recruited Assistant RDCs had offices they were filling, appointing them these new offices will create vacant seats which others will fill” said Hon Akampurira Oscar.
The district speaker further encouraged Hon Gibbs Barigayomwe and the rest to pull behind them/Robby for the youth Jobs in the upper offices as an effort of fighting unemployment in the area.
The former Aspiring Rukiga County Member of the Parliament Hon. Mugyenyi Simon Rwamagyenda appreciated that the young generations have now stood to show their capacities in leadership.
He explained how in the early ages, for someone to be a Resident District Commissioner would be of age comparing it with now when the youth have started taking up the position.
In his remarks the Assistant RDC Rukiga district Mr. Barigayomwe Gibbs appreciated the people, mostly the youth for showing him love and support and pledged to work with them for a better Rukiga district.
In presence was the Hon. Edmond Researcher (Omusiniya), Hon. Jackeline, the area MP, Representatives from the ONC office, Youth leaders, Political Prayers and Business Community among others.
