The Nakawa Division D/RCC Urges police leaders to always be patriotic.

KAMPALA: The Nakawa Division Deputy Resident City Commissioner (D/RCC) Sheik Kassim Kamugisha has encouraged the Entire Kampala Metropolitan commanders and the Police leadership to always be patriotic while executing their Duties.

The Commissioner said this while addressing the officers today 30th April 2024 on maintaining security ahead of the Labor Day celebrations tomorrow 1st April 2024 in Uganda.

Sheik Kassim Kamugisha charged the officers to strengthen a working relationship with the population, especially the youth, saying that the foundation of security of Uganda is based on its people.

The meeting held at Uganda Manufacturers Association grounds Lugogo (UMA) was attended by the number of the Police commanders from within the Kampala Metropolitan areas and other Leaders within the force.

The national celebrations for International Labor Day will this year be held at Mukabura Grounds – St. Leo’s College, Fort Portal City under the theme, “Improving Access to Labor Justice: A Prerequisite for Increased Productivity”.

The President of Uganda Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to preside over the function come tomorrow Wednesday, 1st May 2024.
