Kisoro, Uganda – Kabami Secondary School’s headteacher, Shafati Gatangaza, has expressed heartfelt appreciation for the staff’s cooperation, which has significantly contributed to the school’s overall academic development.
Gatangaza made the remarks during a staff retreat held on May 2, 2025, at Bamboo Gardens in Kisoro municipality, where teaching and non-teaching staff gathered to celebrate their achievements in the first term of the year.
Emphasizing the importance of teamwork, Gatangaza noted that leisure time for teachers allows them to relax and recharge, and that collaboration between staff is crucial for achieving positive results.
He highlighted the school’s notable achievement, where all senior six students qualified to attend universities, crediting the teachers’ efforts for this success.

Gatangaza also advised students on holiday to continue reading and engaging with academic materials, while urging parents to support their children by assigning domestic activities and protecting them from negative peer influences.
